Making HVAC Affordable in Maryland

June 16, 2022

Individuals have always looked for affordable HVAC services, but with the current times, it’s needed even more. Costs are rising everywhere and the HVAC industry is not immune to these increases.

While we may not always have the lowest prices at times, we do our best to keep heating and AC repairs affordable. Here’s how.

Piggy bank happy with saving money

Discounts on repairs and installations

One way we try to help our customers cut the cost of HVAC services is by offering discounts. We do this a couple of different ways.

The first is with rebates on new installations. When a customer needs to replace their HVAC equipment or needs a brand new install, they can save up to $3000 with BGE and Pepco rebates. These are rebates based on energy efficiency so they are only available on qualifying installations. However, when replacing an older unit with a newer energy-efficient unit you will likely get some money through these rebates.

The second is by saving on repairs and parts with our maintenance plan. Customers who opt to receive ongoing maintenance from us will save on repairs and replacement parts. Even signing up for the plan at the time of your repair will allow you to save on those repairs.

While our maintenance plan can save you money during repairs, it can also help you save throughout the year with increased utility savings, and the ability to catch small issues before they turn into costly ones.

Offering various installation packages

Every homeowner has their own wants, needs and budgets. Some clients want the most energy-efficient products, others want total comfort no matter the cost, while some customers want the most affordable options available. These packages allow for our customers to get the comfort they need at a price they are able to pay.

We pay hourly and choose education over sales

Where many homeowners get burned financially in their HVAC purchases is when salespeople have incentives to push unnecessary purchases and when installers get paid by the number of installs they can do. When dealing with a dishonest company, this could mean paying for things you don’t need or having an installer cut corners which will cost you more later down the road.

At MaxAir, we pay our employees hourly. That way, there’s no incentive for our installers or repairers to sell unnecessary products or cut corners. We don’t want our technicians rushing a service call to get to another call but would rather ensure they are properly diagnosing and taking care of our clients' needs.

Making financing available

At the end of the day, we offer the best pricing we can. However, sometimes the best option to get that installation or repair is by financing. Replacing HVAC systems can cost several thousands of dollars which is more than most individuals can pay at in full. By financing the replacement, one can make the pricing more manageable by creating affordable payments.

We focus on quality over cheapness of services

Everyone wants the cheapest HVAC services they can get (who doesn’t!) but at the end of the day we will never choose cheap products over quality ones. We understand that means we won’t always be the cheapest HVAC provider and we are OK with that.

This is why when we do business we aim to educate our customers instead of selling and why we offer guarantees on our installations.

We want to make sure we do everything in our power to keep rates affordable for our customers, but at the end of the day our biggest focus is on quality.
